Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your booking and travel with Bisht Tour and Travels(“we”, “us” or “our”). By making an enquiry or booking with us, you agree to the terms set out below.

Bookings & payments

• A booking is confirmed only once the agreed advance payment is received and we send you a written confirmation.
• The balance is due before the trip begins, on the schedule shared with your confirmation, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Quoted prices cover only the inclusions listed in your itinerary. Anything not listed — personal expenses, tips, entry fees and the like — is payable by you.

Cancellations & refunds

If you need to cancel, tell us as early as possible. Refunds depend on how far ahead you cancel and on amounts already committed to hotels, transport and permits, which are often non-refundable. Specific cancellation charges for your trip will be shared with your confirmation. No refund is available for a no-show or for unused services once a trip has started.

Changes to itineraries

Mountain travel depends on weather, road and trail conditions. For your safety we may alter routes, stays or schedules — or, in extreme cases, cut short a trip. We will always try to offer a fair alternative, but we are not liable for costs arising from events beyond our control such as landslides, floods, strikes or government orders.

Health, fitness & safety

• Treks and high-altitude pilgrimages demand a reasonable level of fitness. You must tell us about any medical condition that may affect your travel.
• You agree to follow the guidance of our guides and drivers at all times. We may decline to carry anyone whose conduct endangers themselves or others.
• We strongly recommend suitable travel and medical insurance for all trips.

Liability

We act in good faith to arrange your travel, but we are not responsible for loss, injury, delay or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or from third-party providers such as hotels and transporters. Our liability is limited to the value of the services booked with us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uttarakhand.
