Overview
A rare, fully supported circuit to all five Kedar shrines — Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar and Kalpeshwar — through Garhwal's remotest ridges, meadows and forests.
Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival & Guptkashi
Pickup from Rishikesh/Dehradun, drive to Guptkashi in the Mandakini valley.
- Day 2–3Kedarnath
Trek to Kedarnath (16 km), darshan & aarti, return to roadhead.
- Day 4–5Madhyamaheshwar
Drive to Ransi, trek through forest & meadow to the second Kedar at Madhyamaheshwar.
- Day 6–7Tungnath & Chandrashila
Drive to Chopta, climb to Tungnath (highest Shiva temple) and the Chandrashila summit.
- Day 8–9Rudranath
The toughest leg — a forest-and-bugyal trek to the remote Rudranath shrine and back.
- Day 10–11Kalpeshwar
Drive to Helang, short trek up the Urgam valley to Kalpeshwar, the only year-round Kedar.
- Day 12Joshimath / Rudraprayag
Drive out toward the plains with a riverside overnight.
- Day 13Departure
Drive via Rishikesh and drop at Dehradun/Rishikesh station.
